Golbo the Spider is out and about!

Recently, I published my new children’s book Golbo the Spider’s Amazing Vacuum Cleaner Adventure. It’s a story that is completely nuts – but based on the feedback I’ve had from young readers so far about my books, the crazier the stories the funnier they find them. Well, you have to give your readers what they want!

So how did this all come about? Well, my daughter is a scared of spiders and is always asking me to get rid of the poor things. One day she asked me to deal with a spider that had crawled far up the wall in our living room. I had no choice this time but to use the vacuum cleaner. I have to admit that I felt really guilty using it, but there was no other way of persuading the intruder to leave its comfortable spot. As I reluctantly aimed the nozzle at the wall, I began to wonder what would happen when the spider got sucked up into the vacuum cleaner…and suddenly the idea for a wacky story just popped into my head.
