Independent author event, Manchester, UK

I’m really looking forward to taking part in AuthorCon UK 2014, the inaugural UK book fair to celebrate independent authors of all genres. It will be held on Saturday April 26th 2014 from 10am to 6pm at MadLab Manchester.

If you are around, do drop by as AuthorCon UK will be a great way to interact directly with independent award-winning and bestselling writers, purchase signed books and discover their new authors. Children’s book will be well represented at the event, with a special section where authors, illustrators and award-winners showcase their work and offer reading sessions and activities for younger readers.

AuthorCon UK is the brainchild of K.C. Finn, who is an established author herself. She has done an amazing job in getting authors and others in the publishing world to participate and has spent countless hours in organising the event. AuthorCon UK is is also being backed by The Wishing Shelf Independent Book Awards, which is rapidly becoming one of the high profile competitions for the writing community.
